Park Byung-eun (Park Byung-eun) is a South Korean actor born on July 14, 1977, in Seoul. He studied drama at Chung-Ang University and made his television debut in 2000 with a small role in Mr. Duke. After several supporting roles in films, he landed a more prominent role in The Pit and the Pendulum: The Pit in 2008.
His career took a major turn in 2015 thanks to the movie Assassination, in which he plays Kawaguchi Shunsuke, a Japanese lieutenant. His performance brought him greater visibility and led to a string of more prominent roles in both film and television.
He really stands out in dramas Because This Is My First Life in 2017, Queen of Mystery, Your Honor, Arthdal Chronicles and Kingdom. In 2020, he also played one of the leading roles in Oh My Baby.
In 2022, he played the male lead role of Kang Yoon-gyeom in Eve, alongside Seo Yea-ji. That same year, he made a cameo appearance in Alchemy of Souls. He then joined Moving in 2023 as Officer Ma Sang-gu.
In 2024, he plays Park Sang-min in The Bequeathed. The following year, he played two major roles in Hyper Knife and Dear Hongrang.
In 2026, Park Byung-eun continues to enjoy a particularly active career with The Apartment Job, The Husband and Family Matters Season 2. It is also announced in Moving Season 2, in which he reprises the role of Ma Sang-gu, now portrayed as a team leader at the NIS.
