Fans won't have to wait until Wednesday after all. A dramatic turn of events on Tuesday, November 3: « The Remarried Empress » («The Remarried Empress») is being released a day early and is available starting today on Disney+. The announcement came as a surprise during today's launch press conference, attended by the four headliners.

An announcement in the middle of a press conference
The press conference was held this Tuesday morning in Seoul, attended by Shin Min-ah, Ju Ji-hoon, Lee Jong-suk, Lee Se-young and director Jo Soo-won. Host Park Kyung-rim surprised everyone by announcing that the series' release date had been moved up from November 4 to November 3.

The team welcomed the decision with enthusiasm. Director Jo Soo-won said he felt both nervous and eager, especially since the series had been well received during its screening at the Busan International Film Festival. He found it particularly symbolic that the release coincided with the day of the press conference.
Lee Se-young said she was even more nervous and excited at the thought that the audience would get to see the series a day earlier than planned.
A teaser full of mischief
To announce the news, the series released a teaser that’s as funny as it is romantic. In it, Prince Heinrey (Lee Jong-suk) decides to turn himself into a bird to be with Empress Navier (Shin Min-ah).
His secretary, McKenna (Choi Dae-hoon), desperately tries to stop him, reminding him that many eyes are still watching them. It’s no use: Heinrey gives her a mischievous wink, transforms, and flies out the window. He joins Navier in a garden, where she unties a little note from his paw… revealing the new release date.
A delightful nod to readers of the original novel, who are familiar with this messenger bird.
The New Broadcast Schedule
The series has 10 episodes. The first 4 are available starting today, Tuesday, November 3, and two new episodes will be released online every Wednesday.
As a reminder, «The Remarried Empress» follows Navier, the perfect empress of the Eastern Empire. After being betrayed by her husband, Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji-hoon), who had an affair with the runaway slave Rashta (Lee Se-young), and subsequently repudiated, she chooses to marry Heinrey, the prince of the Western Empire.
