The Story

Moon Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo, Jung Ji-so as a young woman) was the victim, during his high school years, of extremely brutal bullying orchestrated by Park Yeon-jin (Lim Ji-yeon, Shin Ye-eun as a young woman) and his group of friends.

Abandoned by the adults who were supposed to protect her, Dong-eun is forced to leave school and give up her dream of becoming an architect. Years later, after devoting her life to meticulously planning her revenge, she becomes a teacher at the school attended by Ha Ye-sol (Oh Ji-yul), Yeon-jin’s daughter. Her goal is now to bring down, one by one, those who destroyed her youth.

In his plan, Dong-eun gets closer to Joo Yeo-jeong (Lee Do-hyun), a doctor who is also deeply traumatized, and to Kang Hyeon-nam (Yeom Hye-ran), a woman who is a victim of domestic violence and becomes her ally and investigator.

Opposite her are, among others, Jeon Jae-joon (Park Sung-hoon), Lee Sa-ra (Kim Hieora), Choi Hye-jeong (Cha Joo-young), and Son Myeong-oh (Kim Gun-woo), former members of the bullying group. The first part thus sets the stage for a methodical, psychological, and patient revenge, in which Dong-eun exploits each person’s weaknesses and secrets. The main characters and their roles are detailed in the series’ cast list.
