Biography

Lee Ju-myoung (이주명), born on December 1, 1993, is a South Korean actress and model. She began her modeling career in 2016 after participating in a photo shoot with a photographer friend, before appearing in several music videos. This experience inspired her to pursue acting, and she made her television debut in 2019 in My Fellow Citizens!.

She then went on to play supporting roles in several well-received dramas, including Hospital Playlist, Missing: The Other Side and Kairos in 2020. She continues with Check Out the Event in 2021, before seeing a sharp rise in popularity the following year.

In 2022, Lee Ju-myoung made a particularly strong impression in Twenty-Five Twenty-One, in which she plays Ji Seung-wan, a brilliant, outspoken, and socially conscious high school student. Although she isn’t part of the main couple, her character quickly became one of the most beloved in the drama and played a major role in boosting her popularity.

She followed that up in 2023 with Like Flowers in Sand, in which she plays one of the leading roles alongside Jang Dong-yoon. She portrays Oh Yoo-kyung, an investigator connected to the protagonist’s past, in a story that blends romance, mystery, and ssireum, the traditional Korean wrestling style.

At the same time, Lee Ju-myoung made her film debut in Pilot in 2024, in which she co-stars with Jo Jung-suk.

Announcements

In 2025, she returns to the romantic drama My Youth in the role of Mo Tae-rin. She went on to star in 2026 with Reborn Rookie, in which she plays Kang Bang-geul, one of the main characters.

His filmography continues to grow with Queen of Taming, scheduled for 2027, as well as the movie Hug Me, in which she is set to play the lead role of Su-a.
