The drama " Final Table » now has a release date. JTBC confirmed that its new drama, starring Ahn Hyo-seop will premiere on October 24, along with the release of the first images of the actor in character. After exploring romance, medical dramas, and fantasy, Ahn Hyo-seop is now set to enter the highly competitive world of cooking.
«Final Table» will follow talented Korean chefs from all over the world as they compete in «The Table: K-Chef 2026», a high-level competition aimed at crowning the best Korean chef.
At the center of this story is Kang Han, played by Ahn Hyo-seop. He is a character still shrouded in mystery, as much of his past remains unknown.
Ahn Hyo-seop Joins the Competition
Kang Han has spent most of his career working in restaurants abroad. But following an unexpected event—the circumstances of which have not yet been revealed—he became the head chef at the restaurant Familia and decided to participate in «The Table: K-Chef 2026.».
A competition that is sure to quickly pit him against some of the best Korean chefs, who have traveled from all over the world specifically to try to take first place.
The first images released by JTBC offer a glimpse of Ahn Hyo-seop right in the thick of this competition. Wearing his white chef's jacket, Kang Han alternates between a confident smile and a much more determined look when he focuses on his preparations.
These photos highlight the professionalism and confidence of a person who seems perfectly at ease in the kitchen, while leaving some mystery as to what led him to join the competition.
The role also marks a new chapter in Ahn Hyo-seop's career: «Final Table» will mark the first time he has played a chef in a drama.

With its blend of competition, cooking, and personal stories, «Final Table» is unlikely to focus solely on the dishes prepared by its contestants. Kang Han’s journey and the secrets surrounding his past are also expected to play a significant role in the narrative.
Ahn Hyo-seop will be joined by, among others, Hong Hwa-yeon, Chang Ryul and Jung Yoo-jin, who have already been announced as some of the drama's lead actors.
While JTBC had previously only announced that the show would air in October, the network has now set a specific date: «Final Table» will premiere on October 24 at 10:40 p.m. KST on JTBC and will be available internationally on Prime Video.
